Spring Catch-Up

 Texas summers may be hotter than hot, but we've been loving the nice warm spring!

We enjoyed a "Day out with Thomas" in Grapevine.  They had a train ride and a few other activities to enjoy.

We've also been putting our zoo membership to use!

We had a nice casual Easter at home.  The kids got a few small things in their baskets and then we attended church.

We made some bird's nest cookies.  After we finished, Owen asked, "When do the baby birds come out?" Haha.

Owen finally is tall enough to ride the bike he got for Christmas.

 It's been so cute, he loves his helmet and has been wearing it everywhere.

Lydia-9 Months

This bright, beautiful baby is getting bigger! This month has been all about mobility.  Lydia has developed a funny method of getting around--sort of a half crawl, half bum scoot.  She's getting pretty good at it!  She is also getting good at pulling up to stand.  She loves banging on things.  The corner of our table next to where she sits is constantly sticky because she always smacks it. She also is getting more interested in toys, which has been fun.  She still really loves her mama.  I call her my little koala bear.  She loves to cling to me, particularly when she's nervous. It's kind of adorable.

She has also discovered that gravity is fun! She loves dropping food off of her high chair and watching it fall.

 Sweet sleepy baby.  She loves to hold her binkie as she falls asleep.

We've been enjoying weather in the 80s the lately!  Sweet summer babies.

"Mommy! Mommy! I shared my snacks with Lydia!"  She doesn't seem to mind too much!
